Thank you to everyone who made the 11th Annual Trillium Trek Trail Run & Walk possible. May 1, 2021, a field of 100 participants experienced the great outdoors within Georgia’s only National Dedicated Old-Growth Forest.

Trillium Trek Trail Run & Walk Proceeds

Trillium Trek proceeds benefit Elachee Nature Science Center’s environmental education and conservation initiatives in the 1,440-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve, one of Georgia’s largest protected green spaces (in south Hall County). Elachee receives NO local, state or federal funding to design, manage and maintain the 8-mile hiking trail system in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve, relying instead on private donations, Elachee memberships, grant awards and volunteer efforts to perform these functions.
