Explore the wonders of Walnut Creek during this hands-on water quality program! Students will get into the stream and use nets and other tools to search for macroinvertebrates. We’ll observe what we find to discuss the stream’s water quality!
Program Details
FEE: $15 per Student/Members FREE
ELIGIBILITY: Students in PreK-5th Grade, Ages 5 to 12
CLASS SIZE: 15-Student Maximum
PROGRAM TIME: 9 am-10:30 am
LOCATION: Elachee Nature Science Center, Discovery Room, 2125 Elachee Drive, Gainesville, GA 30504
PRE-REGISTRATION* DEADLINE: Tuesday, May 14, 2024
*Minimum class size is 7 participants for this program to take place. Program is subject to cancellation and refunds if minimum not met. Parents must stay with their child for the duration of the program.
