Do you want to learn more about snakes, specifically about the snakes in your backyard? Join us for a virtual program all about the snakes of Georgia! You will learn the basics of snake ecology and identification. You’ll also get a virtual encounter with a snake or two!

Discovery Saturday at Elachee on May 20th will feature farm animal yoga with Love Goga, and the United Way of Hall County Basics Bus in addition to self-guided activities among the Nature Center exhibits, attractions, and hiking trails.

Thanks to devoted volunteers and Elachee staff, hikers will soon be able to explore the backcountry of the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.
