Stars Over Elachee Telescope Program

Learn to set up and use a telescope, then embark on a guided tour of the night sky to see the first quarter moon and bright seasonal stars.

This program is most meaningful for adults and children 8 and up. Registration is required. Please call 770-535-1976 to reserve your telescope.

  • Location: Programs are held in the Elachee meadow at the main campus visitor center unless otherwise noted. DIRECTIONS / MAP

  • Program Fee: $10 Adults; $5 Children 12 and under; Elachee Members FREE
  • Start Time: Programs begin at dusk (see specific event dates for actual start times)
  • What to Bring: flashlight and pencil
