GUEST SPEAKER: Dr. Kim Coder, Professor of Tree Biology and Health Care, University Hill Fellow at The University of Georgia Elachee’s 2021 Science Nights are presented by Northside Hospital and event sponsors New Urban Forestry, David Eisner and Adrienne Lloyd.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: The meaning of trees begins with how they make a living and stand up against an environment trying to knock them down and step on their face. How trees work will be reviewed in the context of community yards and landscapes. 

Dr. Coder is the past world president of the International Society of Arboriculture, and international consultant on tree life and health.

Elachee Nature Science Center is pleased to host this monthly virtual Science Night to engage the community in environmental education and discussion. This program is best suited for adults.
