LEARN MORE ABOUT GBBC What Birds Will We See?Since Chicopee Lake is one of the premier birding spots in northeast Georgia, we expect to see a wide variety of both resident birds and winter migrants including ducks, herons, raptors, sparrows, woodpeckers and more. This local birding hike is a seasonal public education program provided by Elachee Nature Science Center. Elachee Birding Hike: 8-11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020 FREE Program Participation Birding Hike Location: Parking Fee: all vehicles are subject to a Chicopee Woods Area Park Commission daily parking fee of $5. A cash-only parking fee box is located in the Chicopee Lake parking lot where you may purchase a $5 daily parking pass or a $50 annual parking pass (valid for all desigated parking lots in the Chicopee Woods Conservation Area). |
