Touch a Snake, and More!

This is a festival of all things reptilian. Get up close and personal with creatures that slither and crawl at Elachee’s 27th Annual Snake Day. This seasonal nature education festival is a family-friendly favorite. The 2019 Snake Day at Elachee Nature Science Center is presented by annual sponsor Northside Hospital and event sponsor Tipton Construction Company.

Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Rain or Shine
Admission (Pay at the Festival Entrance): $10 Per Person (ages 2 and older); Elachee Members $5 Per Person
Parking: FREE shuttles to/from designated parking areas... courtesy of Hayes Automotive Group and Hall County Schools.

Other Festival Highlights At this action packed festival, paid admission allows guests to also take guided hikes, visit Elachee’s live animal exhibits (scheduled Meet & Greets with Elachee resident reptiles at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.) and take in the new outdoor interpretive exhibits, make reptile-related crafts and get faces painted! Enjoy being entertained by the One Man Band (David Court), and while at Elachee, browse the Nature Shop for a souvenir toy snake and snag Snake Day t-shirts for the family!
