Elachee Birding Hike: Great Backyard Bird Count

Help collect data on local wild birds for this annual, weekend long online citizen-science project of Cornell Lab of Ornithology and the National Audubon Society taking place across the U.S., February 16-19, 2018. 

What Birds Will We See?

This local birding hike is a seasonal public education program provided by Elachee Nature Science Center.

Elachee Birding Hike: 8-11 a.m., Saturday, February 17, 2018
RAIN DATE: 8-11 a.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018 

FREE Program Participation 
Arrive a few minutes before 8 a.m. with binoculars and dressed for the weather. The hike will not take place if it is raining (see RAIN DATE above).

Parking Fee: all vehicles are subject to a Chicopee Woods Area Park Commission daily parking fee of $5. A cash-only parking fee box is located in the Chicopee Lake parking lot where you may purchase a $5 daily parking pass or a $50 annual parking pass (valid for all desigated parking lots in the Chicopee Woods Conservation Area).
