Program Topic: Stream Life
Explore the wonders of Walnut Creek and all the life that it holds! After learning about watersheds and the basics of stream life and water quality, students will have the opportunity to get down and dirty in the stream while searching for macroinvertebrates.

FEE: $15 per Student
ELIGIBILITY: Students in PreK-5th Grade, Ages 5 to 12
CLASS SIZE: 15-Student Maximum
PROGRAM TIMES:
- Morning Session 9-11am
- Afternoon Session 12-2pm
LOCATION: Elachee Nature Science Center, Discovery Room, 2125 Elachee Drive, Gainesville, GA 30504
Please note: This program is all outdoors and will involve hiking to the stream and getting into the stream to search for invertebrates. Please wear closed-toed water shoes (rain boots, close-toed Keens, mesh water shoes, etc.) and clothing appropriate for getting wet and muddy!
