Elachee offers a two-for-one special at the Spring Garden Expo!

With eclectic garden and nature-related items from the Nature Shop booth and tips from an expert birder on ways to lure migrating birds to your backyard, Elachee will help you make your garden a haven for people, plants and wildlife.

Elachee Nature Shop has a booth at the 2017 Spring Garden Expo presented by the Hall County Master Gardeners.“Bird baths, chimes and feeders really complete a garden,” declares Judy Stock, Elachee Nature Shop Manager. “They add bright and colorful interest or a soothing element to any landscape.”

Stop by the Elachee Nature Shop booth at the 15th Annual Spring Garden Expo. Judy will have an eclectic selection of items to complement your plant purchases.

“This will be Elachee’s fifth year at the Spring Garden Expo,” Judy says. “We will also be selling Elachee gear, plus other nature-related merchandise.”

The Hall County Master Gardeners’ 2017 event is Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at the Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center. Admission is $2 for adults.

Want to know how to lure birds to your backyard?

As a bonus, on Friday, catch Elachee’s Director of Education Peter Gordon as he presents details on bird migration. “I’ll share ways to enhance your bird identification skills and give you tips for attracting these visitors to your backyard garden,” explains Peter.

Give the Gift of Nature

All proceeds from the Nature Shop sales benefit the children, families and nature lovers that Elachee serves through school field trips, environmental education programs and conservation activities in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.

Elachee’s Nature Shop, located in the Elachee Visitor Center, is open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Elachee Members receive a discount on purchases EVERY visit.
