Pre-K Summer Day Camps
Camp Elachee’s Pre-K Summer Day Camp is for children ages 3, 4, and 5 who are not entering kindergarten in the fall. All campers must be fully toilet trained.
Pre-K Summer Camp Overview
Camp Elachee 2019 offers nine weekly Pre-K camps, from May 28 to July 26, 2019.
Campers enjoy an age-appropriate condensed version of each week’s themed activities along with mini-hikes and visiting creeks, songs, creative play and movement, story time, crafts and special visits from Elachee staff.
Pre-K Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to Noon
Pre-K Camp Fees: $160 per child, per camp week
- Elachee members receive a $20 discount per child, per camp week.
- Pre-registration is required. Spaces are filled on a first-come basis.
Camp Elachee 2019: Pre-K Camp Weekly Themes
May 28–May 31: Water Week (4-day camp)
Learn about the aquatic environment, properties of water, and water quality through exploring Elachee’s waterways and aquatic life. Celebrate the week with a Frozen Frenzee treat!
June 3–7: Sense of Wonder
Develop your five senses by exploring Elachee’s Nature Preserve, doing hands-on activities, and learning about other how other species use their senses in the wild.
June 10–14: Habitat Haven
Explore the habitats of the earth and the environments those animals live in. Participate in the mini polar plunge and jungle themed games, as well as other habitats!
June 17–21: Space Week
Become an astronomer by venturing into the Starlab, Elachee’s ‘cave’, while learning about the solar system and astronomy.
June 24–28: Wet and Wild
Join us for an International Mud Day celebration and Water Olympics. This week is all about water fun!
July 1, 2, 3 and 5: Elachee Explorers (4-day camp)
Discover your inner adventurer by learning about historical explorers’ journeys. Delve into treasure hunts, gem panning, and other outdoor adventures. Celebrate the week with a Frozen Frenzee treat!
July 8–12: Mad Science Mayhem
Campers will create and perform their own experiments featuring chemical reactions and physics to explore the world around them in this jam-packed week of fun!
July 15–19: Creature Feature
Master your knowledge of animals and their habitats from across the world and your own backyard, with a special trip back in time to visit the dinosaurs.
July 22–26: Camp Rewind
Revisit your favorite camp activities from the summer!
