K-6 Summer Day Camps

Camp Elachee Registration Opens February 1, 2019


Camp Elachee’s Elementary Summer Day Camp is for children entering Kindergarten through 6th grade in the fall.

Kindergarten through 6th Grade Summer Camp Overview 

Camp Elachee 2019 offers nine weekly elementary camps, May 28 to July 26, 2019.

Campers get the full camp experience with creek wading and walks, woodland hikes, nature study, silly camp songs, crafts, games, visits from Elachee naturalists and special guest presenters. Camp activities may vary due to group age, group interest and weather conditions.

K–6 Camp Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

K–6 Camp Fees: $170 per child, per camp week

  • Elachee members receive a $20 per child per camp week discount. 
  • Pre-registration is required. Spaces are filled on a first-come basis. 

After Camp Child Care: Optional extended care is $60 per camper, per camp week. Offered daily from 2:30-5:30 p.m., this supervised child care is a convenient option for working parents.

July 15–19: Creature Feature

July 22–26: Camp Rewind

Camp Elachee meets the requirements and standards for ‘exemption status’ from the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning’s Bright from the Start. Attendance policies for Pre-Kindergarten require that each child will attend no more than four (4) hours per day.
