Who’s Moving Up to K-1st Grade?
In May, as a successful third year for Elachee Nature Academy’s Preschool concluded, we bid farewell to some ‘graduating’ students. Yet we all are excited by the prospect of a number of them returning in August as students in the Academy’s first Nature-based Kindergarten-1st Grade class!
Elachee Nature Academy is a private, tuition-based program managed and operated by Elachee Nature Science Center, offering Nature-based Preschool and Kindergarten-1st Grade programs.
Renovations are underway for the newest classrooms at Elachee Nature Academy – both an indoor and outdoor spaces the Academy’s K-1st students will use. Our new K-1st teacher is working closely with others on our Education team to fine tune the program’s discovery-based curriculum.
How You Can Help: Spread the Word
Elachee Nature Academy is now enrolling for the new Kindergarten-1st Grade program. Classes begin August 5, 2016, to coincide with Hall County’s 2016-17 academic calendar. We can accept up to 20 students for this SACS/AdvancED-accredited nature-based program.
Would you help us share this great news with parents looking for an alternative educational choice for their young children? Interested families should contact Rhonda Bailey, Elachee Nature Academy’s Director of Schools, to schedule a tour by calling 770-535-1976 or by email..
What about the Nature-based Preschool?
Elachee Nature Academy’s Preschool has a waiting list for the upcoming 2016-17 academic year and the next, 2017-18. We invite parents of toddlers intrigued by the nature-based instructional concept to schedule a tour now and to reserve a spot for your child.
