Volunteer for Habitat Restoration Days

Beginning in January, Elachee's conservation efforts will be extended through volunteer habitat restoration projects.

Volunteers will meet the 3rd Thursday of the month from 1:00-5:00pm. There will be a short introduction to the project and its conservation value before volunteers begin work. Some of the projects planned include mapping endangered plants, stream monitoring, removing exotic invasive plants, and creating/updating interpretive signage.

No experience necessary! Join us and learn more about conservation and help Elachee improve habitat in the Chicopee Woods! Volunteer receive a t-shirt and a discount at the Nature Shop!

Email preserve@elachee.org for more information and to sign up.
