You can take home one of the unique selections pictured on this page that will be available at Elachee's Spring Benefit Auction, Flights of Fancy. The casual event is scheduled for Friday, May 9th from 6-9 pm at the main Center off Atlanta Highway.

The highlight of the evening is the auction - an array of truly unique birdhouses, garden sculptures, whimsical yard art, bird feeders, planters, and gardening gift baskets created and donated by local artists and friends of Elachee. Attendees enjoy a casual spring evening of light dinner fare, beverage bar, live jazz music by local artist Brian Ulrich, and a chance to take home one of the beautifully crafted "flighty" creations available at the auction. Whether you need a functional birdhouse, a unique piece to grace your yard or are shopping for a special gift, you may find the perfect treasure among our one-of-a-kind pieces.

Proceeds from the event benefit both Elachee’s environmental education programs for students and families and conservation efforts in the Chicopee Woods.

The 7th year of the auction includes a full-color poster that you’ll spot around town promoting the event. Related spring bird events include a full week of educational bird hikes in April, and a museum exhibit about Neo-Tropical Migratory Birds - an informative interactive display explaining their habits, travels, and threats to their existence.
